This department does financial management and bookkeeping for the Church. The department continually advises the Church as to the turns our faithfulness to God, in terms of returning an honest tithe and offering, take. They work hand-in-hand with the stewardship department in advising the pastor and the church as to our giving habits as a sign of our faithfulness to God. Treasurer makes sure the tithe of the Lord and all the free-will-offering are deposited in a bank safely, and the tithe forwarded to the conference office as soon as possible. The rest of the money in the bank is guarded by the treasury and checks are issued on it according to voted- on -policies and with approval by the pastor or serving elders. The treasury comes up monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
