This department ensures that the church members study the word of God daily, as a basis of their continuous revival and reformation. They do this by providing members with Sabbath school quarterlies that cover almost the whole bible in five year-cycles. The importance of bible studies is seen in the fact that the first hour of Sabbath worship, from 9:30 to 10:30am is allotted for Sabbath School bible studies. The Sabbath morning study session is broken down into small units; from Kindergarten ( Ages 1-5), Primary( Ages 6-9), Powerpoint ( Ages 10-12), Realtime ( Ages 13 -14), Cornerstone( Ages 15 -18), and adult classes, sectioned according to the existing composition of the house/cell groups. These Sabbath School units are to serve as support units so that church members can be checked upon every regularly. This department also reminds members of their birthdays and encourages them to give a birthday- sacrifice/offering to God.
